1993 Graduated from Stuttering Therapy: Workshop for Specialists - an intensive two-week course sponsored by the Stuttering Foundation of America and Northwestern University

1984 License to practice as speech-language pathologist in Texas issued by the State Committee of Examiners

1979 Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association

1976 Certified by the state of Texas to provide speech and hearing therapy in the public schools
